News
Here I am with some news :)
1. We are no logner called Avalanche Game Studio.
From now on We are called Pandevmonium.
2. We will be shutting down the blog and will be switching to official site.

This site is under construction but in function, so you can follow us there from now on.
3. We will open the forum after next testing so you can register and comment.
I hope that you all will be able to try out our work in less then Year.
Depends on how fast will we work :)
Hm.. Some big changes are discussed about gameplay/fighting system.
There's much to do and I believe it'll be nice and something new.

The challenge
But Now we got an real challenge for our next testing.
- Terrain should be smoothened.
- We have to rise the whole town from bottom to top again, with all buildings in their place and the grass nicely placed.
- We also should make most NPCs for that town.
- Whole new playable character (hope this one will be final) with couple of armor sets and around 3-5 weapons for him, all that with textures and animations.
- Also we should have some new GUI graphics and new particles.
- New mobs - All the Ice lizards kind ( normal" soldier", Mini boss and the big bad boss).
- New Exterior models and a night sky.
- Most of the bugs fixed and lots of new code from programmers(I have no idea about programming so i won't say anything about what should be done :) )
- Different fighting system - I'm not sure if we'll make it for next testing
We also will be changing the name of our team and the game.
When that happens the official Website/Forum will arise, where you should be gettng further info about the game, characters, story ect.
We still do not know when the next testing is going to be held.
We got much work to do!!

Correction of Sneak peek :)
BUT as nothing goes simply with us there was some problems plus lazy crew did make some changes in that list
So here is the list from the graphic side as i know.
-Normal mapped terrain will be in next testing
- Grass and some trees are made for this testing
- New sky will be
- 2 New short sounds shall be(one need corrections)
- Near death music won't be ( our musician left the team -_-)
- Particle effect for Fire and Lizard attack should be but power up isn't made yet, as i know
- 2 skill icons are drawn ( need corrections too)
- No new interface pieces for now
- 1 NPC has been modelled,textured and animated
- Some new buildings will be , but some older buildings won't be because they were on reducing of the polys and not all textures are done.. So it will be like 5 houses and some exterior elements.
- New Frosthaven terrain is made, and different building placement will be made today
- One complete new Mob will be walking around :)
Now, as for Ravager character, I wasn't pleased with previous one so i made completely new model, textures and animations, 2 sets of armors for him and 2 low quality hammers for purpose of this testing. Why for testing? Because im not happy with this model either, and the, i hope, real and final ravager character is on its way so he will not be seen in this version.
Everything that will be on near testing is FOR TESTING PURPOSE only.

Im happy to say im finally free to work, as all the others too. We've been paralysed for at least 1 month so we didn't develop. College stuff ;) ( you have to understand us)
Well. most of the people are on vacation but they're going to be back soon.

Preview
This time i am speaking for myself,as i really don't know what all is going to be tested, but:
- All Ice lizards animations
- Taurian and his animations
-Ravager(main character) - Some of his animations
-Trying the function of an skill.?? O_o(not sure about this one)
- Some particle effect
- testing the function of Hp/MP/XP bar
- chat
- hopefully playing with less bugs then on last testing
- trying out defined terrain for Frosthaven town
- this time there will be like 6-7 houses in the test
and what about programmers stuff.. i have no idea as i am not one of them :)
so here is that mob Taurian and playable character Ravager(warrior type)

Good news today :)

Heya. Long time nothing has been written :)
As you can see, our game got the name now.
And the good news are that number of our team has incrase by 4 ;)
Well. 3 of them are still on testing time but i believe they will be okay.
Today we had an group conversation and from today things should go little faster.
Plus, nex testing should be between 1. - 5.06. so check it out.

Just to let you know
I wanted to tell you that from next week we should start working normal.
We still are in work delay because some of team mates have one project to finish( which will be done by Monday) . Then textures for characters/monster will be made and animations could be done for the same ..
So that for the next testing there will be at least one of the main characters with some animations in video i'll post as report.
Maybe some more monsters.
Hopefully the bugs we had first time, solved.
There will be some Houses and some defined terrain for the first town we are working on.

Testing #1
Today whole team was gathered together and we were doing some testing of the things we did so far.
Here is something little about what we tested:
- Path finding
- Animations of lizard
- Soundtracks
- and some other stuff :)
Well.. first screen when i entered the game made me say "UOU!" ( you have to understand that this is my first project in my life that i am doing).
So... as we all knew that there will be tons of bugs, we was not disappointed when they came one after another :)
Of course its full of bugs at this moment, its just an first testing of how things are moving and so.
-path finding is working... id say well. But mobs are behaving strange when following.
when they're going straight its ok, but sometimes when they have to go left or right they are not rotated and are moving sideways which looks retarded :D
- there are some problems appearing after player dies and respawns again.. its like that you respawn below the terrain surface but you don't see that.. you believe that you are on surface BUT no one else sees you. and your true position is like 10meters forward. BUT for the player himself it looks normal.
- music didn't behave too good but that's not an problem.. ect
i mean .there was lots of bugs :) so i am not going to write all of them .
Yet BearishSun didn't import buildings we made, nor there is specific land definition(just random bumps and holes with crystals) in this version of testing

Delay
I have to report that there has been an delay in work, because most of members have their personal problems to solve.. or whatever, i don't know
But few of us are working, so we've done:
- 3 new Models ( 1 main character and 2 mobs)
- 2 Animations of an mob
- path finding in engine is almost finished
- 2 Buildings
- some examples of soundtracks

Greetings info
Hello everyone!
As the Main Title says, this is an MMORPG development team. Yes, at the moment we are outnumbered but it doesn't really matter. That is not and it won't stop us for making an nice game.
Hm.. well, as we practically just started with the project, we don't have much to show yet. Neither do we have much to say about it.
What i can say is that our mmorpg is supposed to be little different then an standard one.
We are trying to think of some new ideas, new characters to play with and many other stuff.
That's because we think that there is just to much similar(if not the same) mmo's. We will give all of our knowledge and experience to change this monotonous ways of mmorpgs.
Stay with us and thank you for watching/following us, for it will be of great importance for us later, once there will be some alpha/beta to test out.
